Alpheratz, December 25th– The Wolf Dragoons, employed by the Capellan Confederation, have launched multi-pronged strikes at Dindatari, Kinkaid II, Alegro, and the capital planet, Alpheratz. The attacks appear to be an effort to weaken Alliance industrial concerns, and reduce the contingent of Avellar’s Guards stationed at the capital. Sian has long used mercenary contingents to harass Alliance space, while the CCAF fights AMC expeditionary forces in the Liberation Providence.<br />

‘Since the Blazing Aces accepted a long term contract to replace Larsen’s Loners as the de facto military body within the Mica Majority, the Capellan Confederation seems to have been searching for a replacement regiment to harass Alliance concerns,’ said Chairman Douglas Carmichael, commander of the Avellar’s Guards. ‘The two months of relative quiet since the last mercenary attack allowed the Alliance Military Corp to better deal with the clan threat. Time will only tell if the mercenary raids reappear in force, but I’m willing to boast the AMC will frighten away any wannabe privateers with a good drubbing.'<br />

Since the breakdown of peace negotiations, the Capellan Confederation has launched a full scale assault on Brisbane and commissioned the recent string of mercenary raids. The Alliance has responded with a pair of sorties into Capellan space.
